II – HIGH PRIESTESS
The High Priestess represents the quiet equilibrium that emanates from a deep intuitive knowing and an ability to gather knowledge and energy. She does not act in haste, and understands the larger reality in terms of a uniting consciousness.
The High Priestess is aware of hidden things, and acknowledges the shadow within all of us. She communicates in symbols and synchronicities, and thus encourages us to trust our intuition. In so doing, we begin to bring our inner and outer realities into alignment.
When you draw the High Priestess, you are at the point in your journey, when it is time to keep your counsel. She is giving you a “heads up” that you may not have all the facts, and to allow your intuition to guide you through murky waters. Patience is a key attribute at this time. This is also a time to develop and maintain a set of rituals that will provide you with a sacred space and a continual reminder of your journey and what you wish to achieve not only on a physical level but a spiritual level as well.
Enjoy this time of quiet preparation represented by the High Priestess. You will need the inner resources and intuitive abilities you develop at this time - for in the very near future it will be time to act!
